Soluscope Green is an initiative aimed at helping our associates espouse the efforts Soluscope is making to reduce its environmental impact, in line with Ecolab’s approach of delivering clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments while saving water and energy and reducing waste.
We recycle all our industrial waste such as offcuts (plastic, glass, metal), wood pallets, cardboard, paper, batteries, toner cartridges, electrical and electronic waste, chemicals. In 2016 we began recycling beverage cans, and in 2019 we added stretch film, bubble pack and other packing foam, plastic cups, plastic bottles, and the bottle caps are donated to a charity. We have also created internal reuse cycles, such as transferring filling material received at the reception department to the packaging department for new shipments.
We continually strive to reduce our energy and water consumption by installing light timers, pushbutton faucets, limiting air conditioning and heating, and working on doing more!
Our ultimate goal is to recycle everything that can be recycled, replace everything that can’t be recycled, reduce our consumption and waste as far as possible, and encourage all associates to participate, make suggestions, take initiative, and take pride in these accomplishments.
