Water treatment

 

The disconnection tank is an integral element in the Soluscope 3 system.

    It has three main functions:
  • It ensures that there is no risk of back-contamination from the Soluscope machine into the general water supply network thanks to an air break between the water level and the water supply network (Pr NF EN ISO 15883-1, Pr NF EN ISO 15883-4,NF EN 1717).
  • It allows for the self-disinfection of all the water treatment circuit elements from the disconnection tank to the machine including the prefiltration set and the entire 0.2-µm water filter.
  • It guarantees a consistent flow/pressure for water entering the machine (10 L/70 sec) even with a considerably weak initial water flow.

The pre-filtration set is fixed to the rear of the disconnection tank and consists of a 1 µm, a 0.6/0.2 µm filter connected in series. It protects the 0.2-µm-water filter from early clogging.

The flow through the filter set is monitored by analogue manometers, mounted in a forward-facing fascia directly below the Soluscope 3 machine.
